Hagen helped one of the world’s largest airports achieve operational excellence with its baggage handling systems.

 "A steady increase in passenger numbers meant that the main baggage handling system at one of our terminals had reached capacity. It was already responsible for check-in delays at peak times. Having studied the system, a capital proposal for a new system costing $60 million was put forward. Before committing to the project, we decided to use the Hagen approach to verify whether we had really established the true potential of the existing system. We discovered we were able to achieve an 80% increase in capacity for zero cost. This allowed us to defer the capital program for at least 8 years".
