is not for everyone. But if you have an outstanding academic record, most likely a first class degree in engineering from a leading university, and a practical bias we would like to hear from you.

You will be intellectually curious, analytically stong and highly numerate, with good mechanical understanding. You will also have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

We offer a career where the only constraint on progression is your own ability. We provide full training in our software, consulting and training tools. You will work for the world's leading companies, at every level from the shop floor to the boardroom. Hagen is a collegiate organisation with little hierarchy and an emphasis on getting things done. All of our consulting staff have degrees in engineering or science, and we have a practical bent. We don't write reports; we get results.

Initially you will cut your teeth proving to others, and to yourself, that you can get plant people to solve problems that have defeated all other approaches. Later you will work with people at every level to install a simple fact-based improvement cycle into their daily routines. If you develop the ability to let senior executives see that the concerns of the shop floor are of critical, strategic importance to the business too - in cold, hard, financial terms - you will go far.
